Terms of Service for Skill Sprouts

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Skill Sprouts mobile application (the "App") or website (the "Site") operated by Skill Sprouts LLC ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the App is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the App.

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the App.

1. User Accounts

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our App.
• Parental Responsibility: The App is intended for use by parents and legal guardians. You are solely responsible for creating and managing profiles for your minor children. You represent and warrant that you are the legal parent or guardian of any child whose information you provide.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account, which is managed through Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In).

2. Subscriptions & Freemium Model

Skill Sprouts operates on a "Freemium" model.

• Free Tier: You may access a certain selection of courses and features for free.
• Premium Subscription ("Skill Sprouts Plus"): To unlock the full catalog of courses, audio content, and other premium features, you must purchase a subscription.
• Billing: Subscriptions are managed and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (an "In-App Purchase").
• Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it.
• Cancellation: You must cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Play Store settings.
• Restore Purchases: If you get a new device, you may use the "Restore Purchases" feature to re-sync your premium status.

3. Content & Intellectual Property

• App Content: The App and its original content, including all courses, text, audio, graphics, logos, and software (the "Content"), are the exclusive property of Skill Sprouts LLC and its licensors. Our Content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
• Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App and its Content for your personal, non-commercial use, conditioned on your compliance with these Terms.

4. IMPORTANT: No Professional Advice Disclaimer

Skill Sprouts provides informational and educational content only. It is not intended as a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, psychological, or behavioral health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always seek the advice of your physician, pediatrician, or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical or mental health condition. Never disregard professional advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or heard on this App. We are not responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on the content in this App.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose.
• Share your account with others.
• Copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App or its Content.
• Use the App to collect information about other users' children.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete Account" feature in the App's "Account" screen. This will result in the deletion of all your data, including your child profiles and progress.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Skill Sprouts LLC, nor its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the App.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes. By continuing to use the App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
